This past week we have been discussing all the benefits and practices of physical exercise.

      Perfectionism is not the same thing as striving to be our best. Perfectionism is not about healthy achievement and growth; it’s a shield.

      Perfectionism is a 20-ton shield that we lug around thinking it will protect us when, in fact, it’s the thing that’s really preventing us from being seen and taking flight!

  3. That was fun! I enjoyed doing the test. Results much as to be expected…room for improvement, but then I know that and am already taking steps to change that so all is good. Great post, healthy living is about all aspects of our lives, not just exercise or healthy eating choices. Great advice here.

      Our four bodies -the physical body, the mental body the emotional body and the spiritual body are the vehicles that enable us to express ourselves in the material world.

      It’s not just about exercise and eating healthy.

      Each body has a different FUNCTION but together they act as a whole. Meaning Each one influences the other three but they express themselves together.

      They are all composed of ENERGY!

      Energy flows every moment of your life into these four bodies. If we want them to serve as the best possible instruments for the growth and the development of our SPIRIT then we have to BALANCE the energy flowing through each one of these bodies.

      It is true that we are so much more than our physical body and in order to become truly fit, we have to work on all levels of well-being.

  5. Great post and very true – I started becoming aware of leading a balanced life over 30 years, as my own health required me to balance my rest, control my thinking, eat healthier and exercise – I can tell when one is just not working – so perfection is not my goal either! 🙂
