Accept What Is – Accept Everything – This Is The Path To Happiness!

happygirl1.jpgTo create a state of happiness you have to develop and strengthen your inner-resolve so that no trial or hardship could ever destroy your piece of mind.

If happiness is the state you wish to embody, follow the path of happiness by instilling joy in all those you meet, enjoying time by yourself, and spending time living in the higher realm that delivers a knowing that whatever you desire, you already have, and whatever you desire to be, you already are.

Most people aren’t happy because they reject the present moment – which is what is going on in their lives right now.

They do this by groaning, getting upset and wishing they were either someone else or somewhere else. They continually wish their time away or feel down about a situation. In other words, they are unconsciously rejecting what has already occurred.

If you want to achieve happiness try increasing your thought pattern by practicing being present in the moment, and learning to accept whatever comes across your path, without reacting negatively to it. If you can get the swing of this, it is far more effective than the other options.

What do you think would happen if you woke up one morning and fully accepted the weather as it is, and didn’t allow it to influence your state of mind or well-being by resisting it internally?

What would happen to you if the weather – or indeed any trivial incident out of your immediate control – didn’t have the power to control your life?

Fully accepting what “is” brings you not only peace of mind, but a sense of calm and a deep feeling of aliveness within.

Strangely enough, when you stop resisting life, life tends to respond by making your external situations better anyway.

  1. Amazing! Had to share and what a wonderful message and so easy to adapt!

My goals for my forever is to be “Happy and Healthy!”

    • Hello KG!
Thank you so much for sharing this today and I love your “forever” goal to stay Happy and Healthy!
Indeed, these are two areas that have to be worked on with conscious effort but the pay-off is well worth the it.
I always say “Choose To Be Healthy and Choose to be Happy!”
Thank you for visiting and commenting,
      Healthy blessings,
      Gena 🙂

  2. Very Inspiring… lovely..!!

  3. Inspiring words, indeed, Gena!

We create our own happiness just as we create our own misery. And out of the two, why wouldn’t we choose happiness?

    Great post!

      AMEN – Exactly!! 🙂
Thank you for commenting – I love it!
      Healthy blessings,

  4. I’m not bad at this generally but I still need to work on some of the negative things that I allow to effect my life and bring my energy down. When I let them affect me, and there are not too many of them, I often feel that I have lost control and cannot change things. I take some things from my wonderful teenage daughter too personally, after all she is a teenager!!

I intend to fully accept what ‘is’.

    • Hello Heather,
      Awe the teenager.

Well, typically whenever you go against what your kids want, that is guaranteed to “trigger” them being impossible. LOL!! Actually, the fact that they are being impossible is an indicator that you have been a good parent. You have been firm and have been willing to make some unpopular decisions.

No, it’s definitely not about you – so don’t take it personally, it’s about having a teenager. Keep your energy up – Your doing GREAT and being a GREAT mom!!

      Healthy blessings,
      Gena 🙂

  5. This is so true Gena. It’s easy to slip into worrying about the future or fretting about the past, but in fact, when we just concentrate on enjoying the present moment for what it is, and let go of resisting anything we judge to be unpleasant, we find that actually it’s all good. That’s certainly been my experience anyway. Surrender, stop resisting, it’s all OK! Andrea

    • Beautifully stated Andrea! 🙂
Uncertainty is a natural part of life. We cannot know with absolute certainty what is going to happen next. When we release our attachment to control, it’s easier to breathe and happiness becomes easier to obtain.
      Thank you Andrea,
      Healthy blessings,

  7. Gena,

You are Hot with your articles. Right on point! Acceptance. When I accept what is I find more ease and flow. When I’m in resistance and resist what is happening life is much more of a challenge. “Fully accepting what “is” brings you not only peace of mind, but a sense of calm and a deep feeling of aliveness within.” So true. I love this feeling. I am grateful for your reminder!
    Sending you love and light.

  8. Hi Gena,

What you say about fully accepting what is is so true! Once you stop resisting whatever is happening, it ceases to make you unhappy.

    • Hi Rochelle,

      Absolutely! Resistance is futile.

So many people resist their feelings and life situations. It doesn’t matter how bad our problems are, the fact of the matter is that it is there.

So I say – except the “is”-ness of the situation. Don’t resist it and most of all don’t take it so seriously.

      Thank you for commenting today!
      Sending you gratitude and love,
      Gena 🙂
