Good Health Starts With Identifying Your WHY!

walkingGood health starts when you have identified “WHY” you want to transform your health – why you want to live longer, why you want to feel better and why you want to look better. When I asked myself these questions, I came up with these answers:

Why I want to look good:

I want to look good because it gives me self-confidence and makes me happy, and being happy is a great way for me to feel good.

Why I want to feel good:

I want to feel good so I can engage in all the activities that I enjoy doing on a daily basis.

Why I want to live longer:

I want to live longer so that I can enjoy all the blessings that my life has to offer. I want to share God’s Light by helping people get spiritually and nutritionally fit. I also want to have a long fun life and enjoy my family for as long as possible – pain-free and without medication.

Can you identify your “Why” to all the questions listed above?  I’d love to hear back from you and learn what you have discovered!

  1. Dear Gena,

My answers are pretty much the same as yours!

You are so very correct and wise to start out with WHY someone would want to be healthy.

I have a lot of things I LOVE to do and I want the health and vitality to continue to do all those things.

Plus, in my particular situation, having been told I only had 6 months to live over 25 years ago, I DO NOT take my health for granted.

Thank you for a great post.

You brought up a great point that has not been addressed yet. Like you said, another good reason for identifying your “Why” is to “remember” why you started in the first place when you feel like giving up!! Brilliant!!
