Your Energy Affects Your Moods And Your Well-Being!

zenhonor.jpgThe two types of energies we possess are negative and positive energy.

Positive energy  makes us feel happy, energized, full of life, inspired, motivated, and healthy; while negative energy on the other hand makes us feel tired, unhappy, sad, depressed, and angry but increased levels of negative energy will ultimately create dis-ease in the body.

If your mind is producing thoughts of stress, anxiety and insecurity, whether that is through making you believe that you are not quite good enough the way you are, or that something is wrong with you, or making you worry and stress about situations over which you have no control, this mental disturbance has a very real impact on your physical health.

Unfortunately, many people live enslaved by their minds, their thoughts, beliefs, mental patterns and emotions.

The good news is that with a little awareness and effort, you can begin to free yourself from the negativity of your mind and move toward true health and well-being.

Before you can break free from negative thoughts, ideas, and beliefs about yourself, your body, and your life, you must first become “aware” of the thoughts that you think on a regular basis.

Experiencing negative thoughts and feelings from time to time is very NORMAL and serve various purposes. For example, anger, guilt, bitterness and hopelessness are a sort of internal guidance system.

Negative thoughts and emotions let us know that something in our lives is out of balance. They can provoke us to action, help us make decisions and alert us to emotional needs that are unmet.

So many people cut themselves off from their true essence by dishonoring their emotions and ignoring the signals their bodies send them about the true state of their health and well-being.

While emotional variety can spice up your life, remaining stuck in a prolonged negative emotional state is something to be avoided.

Everyone has thoughts, messages, “tapes” if you will, that run through their mind.  Without awareness, these thoughts can control every aspect of your life.

With a little bit of effort and awareness, however, your mind can become a powerful ally in promoting overall well-being.

So honor the natural flow of your mind by being patient and kind to yourself on a daily basis and keep your attention focused on making positive changes in your life.

  1. Hi Gena!

Our energy very much affects our moods. I prefer being happy, joyful, and positive. I have a clearer head that way! My mind space is less cluttered and less destructive.

  3. Hi Gena. Great post! Most of the time we’re not even aware we’re carrying this negative energy around with us, but it has a massive impact on our health, happiness and experience here. Everything is in love, our pain and negative energy comes from resisting that love. We’ve judged an experience or behaviour to be bad in some way, and then that causes us pain. If we stop resisting whatever it is, and just accept it, it can leave us and the pain stops. The more naturally happy we can be the more positive our energy is. Simple! thanks for sharing this post today, I found it really interesting. Blessings, Andrea

    • Hi Andrea,

When we carry negative energy in our body it certainly does impact our health and well-being. This is because when we hold on to negative emotions like stress, fear, anger and worry for too long these feelings can degrade, wear out and weaken our immune system

Our emotional and mental health are entwined with our physical health. In order to boost physical healing, we need to reduce the amount of stress, fear, and conflict and increase the amount of love, pleasure and laughter in our lives.

I love what you said; “If we stop resisting whatever it is, and just accept it, it can leave us and the pain stops.” Amen!

  4. Hi Gena,

I agree with you that many people live enslaved by their minds, their thoughts, beliefs, mental patterns and emotions.

So, if we find ourselves in a negative state we need to be aware of it. Once we are aware of it, then should change it if we decide to.

    Thanks for the great post!

    • Hello Nate,
Indeed! Awareness is KEY! Once we are “aware” of the emotion that is not wanted we can turn it around for the better.

Negative thoughts and emotions let us know that something in our lives is out of balance. They can provoke us to action, help us make decisions and alert us to emotional needs that are unmet.

Healthy blessings and thank you for your comment today!

  5. Hi Gena,

How our energy goes, so goes our life. Everything is energy and when our personal is off kilter so are we …. and if this is so for the long term, so are we. The most important thing that we can do is tend to the state of our energy.

    Thanks for a great post.
